MultiChoice Slashes DStv And GOtv Decoder Prices

Few weeks to Russian 2018 world cup, MultiChoice Nigeria has announced a price reduction for its DStv and GOtv decoders. MultiChoice also announced that all 64 games at the World Cup in Russia would be available live in HD to DStv and GOtv customers.

DStv HD decoder now goes for N8,500 instead of N9,900, this includes a dish-kit, one-month subscription on the Compact bouquet. Also, a GOtv decoder, with antenna and one-month subscription on the GOtv Max package will now sale for just N5,900.

The announcement was made in Lagos during the company’s “Connect with Greatness”, World Cup campaign. Mr. Martin Mabutho, General Manager, Marketing and Sales MultiChoice Nigeria who spoke at the event acknowledged how big football is in Nigeria.

We are proud to say that we have been broadcasting the football tournaments since 2006 and this edition won’t be any different as we will be showing all 64 matches of the World Cup LIVE and in HD on DStv and GOtv.

Nigerians can enjoy all the games from the comfort of their homes and on the go with up to five mobile devices via the DStv Now app. We will also be providing exclusive live coverage from Russia with expert analyses from the biggest football professionals among other benefits. All you have to do to get in on the excitement is purchase a DStv HD decoder for as low as N8, 500 and a GOtv decoder for N5,900.

The company said viewers can enjoy all 64 games on its six dedicated SuperSport channels on all DStv packages. Gotv will also enjoy this on GOtv Max and GOtv Plus packages, while GOtv Value customers can view a total of 56 World Cup games. Pre and post-match analysis will also be available as well as pidgin English commentary.
