For some time now, there have been rumors of a successor to the R15 series being developed on by Oppo. A new leaked of two devices with the model number PBCM00 and PBCT00 may have just confirmed the speculation.
A recent TENNA listing shows the PBCM00 and PBCT00 believed to be Oppo R17 and Oppo R17 Pro rocking 6.3-inch display. Also revealed during the listing is that the smartphone will be coming with a 3,415 mAh battery. The Oppo R17 is expected to feature a 19:9 aspect ratio OLED display with a notch, dual rear cameras, 156.7x74x7.9mm dimensions.
An earlier teaser at a game show in China, rumored the smartphone could be powered by Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and a 16MP primary rear camera. There have been some indications that the Oppo R17 could come with a massive 10Gb RAM. If this is true, then the device may have won the award of being the first smartphone with a 10GB worth of RAM.
On the other hand, the OPPO R17 Pro was teased to be powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and a 16MP primary rear camera. While the information can be verified, both the R17 and R17 Pro smartphone are expected to come with 3D face unlock. The smartphone is expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks, so we should get more details.
