South Korean tech giant, Samsung said to be working on a new 17-inch Android tablet set to launch soon. Known as the Samsung Galaxy View 2, the tab, is a successor to the 18.4-inch Galaxy View launched back in 2015.
The Galaxy View 2 will feature a Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, powered by the Exynos processor. It is expected to run on Android Oreo operating system straight out of the box. Samsung Galaxy View 2 packs a 3GB RAM and a USB-C port for charging.
Instead of a massive handle, the View 2 will use a book-style hinge as a stand. In the open or deployed position, the hinge serves as a stand that keeps the screen upright for watching videos. The tablet will be lacking lacking both stylus and DeX support since these are for premium or flagship device. More details and specs will be brought to you as soon as we get more info on the device.
