The LG G7 One smartphone has started getting the new Android 9.0 (Pie) update and currently in Canada. LG launched the G7 One as the company’s first Android One smartphone with some amazing features. The device came with a 6.1-inch display and a screen resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. Running on Android One, the handset sports a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
The phone featured a 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and its powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. The update, which weighs 812MB in size, brings November security patch. Other features of the update Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness, Slices API, gesture navigation, and more. With the update, users should expect an improved camera functionality and “Usability improvements through Google patch.”
Device currently the Pixel/Pixel 2, Essential PH-1, OnePlus 6, Xiaomi Mi A2, Motorola One Power, Nokia 6.1, and Sony Xperia XZ1. The LG G7 One, will be the latest inclusion to the Android 9.0 (Pie) family. Since Android One devices are pretty close-to-stock, its no surprise that LG G7 One, is receiving the Android Pie update.
The new Android Pie update will bring Adaptive Battery that uses machine learning to prioritize system resources for the apps, App Actions that helps you raise the visibility of your app and help drive engagement using machine learning, and Slices are a new way to surface rich, templated content in places like Google Search and Assistant.
