A Chinese manufacturer Rouyu has made a name for itself as it becomes the first smartphone company to release the world’s first phone with a foldable display. Rouyu Technology, today, officially launched the FlexPai, the first foldable phone with a flexible display. The mobile phone also becomes the first smartphone to be powered by the all new Snapdragon 855.
The FlexPai features a 7.8-inch high-definition AMOLED display, with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1440. The handset comes in three different RAM and storage variants, which includes; 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 8GB + 512GB. The device sports a dual rear 16MP+20MP camera, located on the left side when the device is laid out flat.

The company says the Rouyu FlexiPai supports fast-charging technology called Ro-Charge that can charge the device from 0 to 80% in 1 hour. The FlexiPai comes with a price tag of $1290 for the 6GB RAM version, while the 8GB + 256GB model sell for $1434 and the 8GB + 512GB version is available at $1864.
