A new report reviews that the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime has started receiving Android 8 Oreo update. The new update comes with new and improve features such as Samsung Experience 9.5 and security improvements in the home screen, smart view, Samsung cloud and account. Also the latest Android 8 Oreo update brings notification dot display function, as well as a simple auto-fill interface.
The Samsung J7 Prime was launched back in 2016 featuring a 5.5 inches FHD display, with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It came running on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS, which was upgradable to 7.0 (Nougat). It is powered by an Octa-core Exynos 7870 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz.
The handset came with a 3GB RAM and was available in two storage variants. The first was a 16GB internal storage, while the other a 32GB internal storage version. The Samsung J7 Prime featured a 13MP single rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. The phone came with a front-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is powered by a Non-removable Li-Ion 3300mAh battery and came in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colours.
