BLU has announced what is now officially the world’s first Android Pie (Go Edition) smartphone. Tagged BLU Vivo Go, the phone is priced at $79.99 in the US and it’s available for purchase at $59.99. It is sold unlocked and is compatible with GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile.
The BLU Vivo Go comes with a 6-inch HD+ curved glass display, and a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. It packs a 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with an expandable memory of up to 64GB. The phone is powered by MediaTek 6739 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. BLU Vivo Go supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.1.
It has a body dimension of 156.7 x 75.2 x 8.4 mm, and a weight of 155 grams. BLU Vivo Go smartphone sports an 8-megapixel primary sensor and VGA (0.3-megapixel) secondary sensor at its rear. The front is equipped with a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone also comes featuring a rear fingerprint sensor. Running on the latest Android 9 Pie Go Edition, the BLU Vivo Go comes with Go Edition apps such as, Gmail, Google Assistant, search, Maps, the app store, and more.
It is available in Mid-night black colour, and packs a 2,600mAh battery capacity. The phone comes with a dedicated button on the side for enabling the power-saving feature.
