Alcatel at this year CES Unveiled two Android phones called the Alcatel 1X and Alcatel 1C. While both smartphones came with a 18:9 screens, the Alcatel 1X featured a 5.5 inches IPS display. The phone came with a screen resolution of 720 x 1,440 pixels and protected by a 2.5D Dragontrail glass.
The device packs a 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with an option to expand using a micro-SD card. The Alcatel 1X is powered by a MediaTek MT6739 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system powered by a 3,000mAh battery capacity. The phone features a 13MP rear camera, with a secondary 2MP sensor, and 5MP selfie camera.
The device is expected to come in two variants, one with a fingerprint and face unlock, while the other supports just face unlock. Alcatel 1X comes at a price tag of just €70 and will be available in North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
