Chinese smartphone brand, Huawei has unveiled its latest entry-level smartphone called the Huawei Y5 Lite. The phone is the company’s second Android Go smartphone featuring a lowly spec, at a low price. Specs detail shows that the phone has a 5.45-inch IPS LCD display, with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels.
The Huawei Y5 Lite is equipped with a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor, running on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) OS. It packs a 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, with an expandable 256GB storage using a micro-SD card. The post a rear-facing 8MP f/2.0 PDAF camera and a 5MP f/2.2 fixed-focus selfie camera.
It has a body dimension measuring 146.5 x 70.9 x 8.3 mm and a weight of 142 grams, including the battery. The phone supports dual SIM Card, GPS, GLONASS and AGPS. It also features accelerometer, ambient Light and proximity sensor. For connectivity, the phone supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth: BT 4.2, BLE and USB / Charging Port: micro USB, USB 2.0.
The Huawei Y5 Lite is available in Black and Blue colours and has a battery capacity of 3020 mAh, with 5 V / 1 A charger. The cost around €100 which is PKR 16,500 in Pakistan and about N46,000 here in Nigeria.
