It comes with Android security patch for January, 2019 and also with new features.

Android P updates bring features such as Adaptive Battery that uses machine learning to prioritize system resources for the apps, App Actions that helps you raise the visibility of your app and help drive engagement using machine learning, and Slices are a new way to surface rich, templated content in places like Google Search and Assistant.

  • New system navigation, settings menu and notifications
  • Adaptive Battery power prioritisation for users’ most commonly used apps/services
  • Adaptive and optimised brightness levels
  • Predictive Application Actions
  • Google Security Patch 2019-01

The phone was launched back in 2017 running on Android 7.1 (Nougat) and later updated to Android 8.1 (Oreo) last year. The company has promised that the Nokia 3.1 Plus will get a similar update this month, with the Nokia 6, Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 2.1 to follow in Q1, the Nokia 3 and Nokia 1 in Q2 2019.
