HMD Global is working on a new smartphone called the Nokia 8.1 Plus. The new device features a large, nearly bezel-less screen with a small cutout in the top-left corner for its front-facing camera. The Nokia 8.1 Plus also features a small chin at the bottom big enough just to show off the Nokia logo. It’s back, shows a dual rear camera setup along with an LED flashlight.
The phone is expected to sport a 6.22 inch FHD+ Display, with a body dimension of 156.9 x 76.2 x 7.9mm. It will come with a USB-C port for charging, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is also expected to come with a rear fingerprint sensor as security option. The phone will be part of Google’s Android One program, and while not yet confirmed, we can expect it to ship with Android 9 Pie.
For now, these are the details we have been able to gather. More info will be brought to you as we hope to see details about the smartphone in the coming weeks.
