OnePlus has started rolling out HydrogenOS 9.0.1 (Android Pie) update to the Chinese variant of the OnePlus 5T. The update comes weighing 2077MB in size and bring new and improve features. It comes with new UI design and new navigation gestures. Also the update brings December’s security patch, fixes some bugs, and improves stability. There is also an improved Do Not Disturb mode and a new Game Mode (Game Mode 3.0).
The phone was launched back in 2017 with specs, details such as 6.01 inch display and a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. It came running Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system, powered by a Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 processor. This is the second major OS update the phone is getting and according to the company, the OnePlus 5T should get the Android Q update.
Back in November, the company rolling out Android 9.0 (Pie) open beta update for both the 5 and 5T smartphones. Two weeks later, they both got the stable version of the update. The OnePlus 5T variants is one of the company’s best selling smartphone.
