OnePlus 6 and 6T Gets Latest OxygenOS Updates

OnePlus has started rolling out the latest OxygenOS updates for its Oneplus 6 and Oneplus 6T smartphones. The OnePlus 6 is getting OxygenOS 9.0.4 update, while the OnePlus 6T is getting the OxygenOS 9.0.12 update.

Both updates comes with general bug fixes and system improvements to both smartphones. It is via OTA and brings January 1, 2019 Android security patch to the phones. Aside the OnePlus 6T gets optimizations for the display, both updates came with similar changelog.

The OxygenOS 9.0.4 and 9.0.12 updates bring in deeper integration with Google Duo to OnePlus 6 and 6T. That means you can now make video calls directly from the Phone and Messages app via Google Duo.

Like I mention above, the updates are over-the-air, but will be available to a small percentage of users. In the coming weeks, the update will be available to a larger number of users. But if you don’t receive the update notification in the next couple of days, you can check for the update manually by heading over to the Settings > System > System updates menu.
