Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M1) & Max Pro (M2) Gets Android Pie update


The Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M1) & Max Pro (M2) smartphones is currently receiving Android 9 Pie update. This is a global update and it comes with the latest May security patch to both devices. Also receiving the Pie update, is the Zenfone Max M2. It was first rolled out to the Zenfone Max Pro (M1) Indian version with the model (ZB601KL) last month.

For the Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M1) device, the update changes the version number to 16.2017.1905.053. It weighs 1.5GB, and its available via OTA. See the complete change log below;

The Zenfone Max Pro (M1) was launched back in May 2018 with 5.99-inch display and a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080. Powered by Snapdragon 636 processor, the device was paired with 6GB of RAM and has an internal storage capacity of up to 128GB. The phone packed a 5,000mAh battery, has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC, and a MicroUSB port.
