The Cubot J7 is the company’s latest affordable phone from its new J-series line. This is coming after the successful launch of the first sports phone called the Cubot Quest, which was a huge success for the company. It comes featuring a 5.7-inches HD+ IPS display with a thinny bezels and has a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 Pixels. The phone a dual camera combo of 13MP + 2MP with LED flash at the rear. The front sports a single 8MP selfie shooter.

The Cubot J7 is equipped with MediaTek MT6580 processor, paired by 2GB of RAM. The processor is clocked at 1.3GHz, supported by ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphic processor. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie opearting system straight out of the box, and has a 2800mAh battery for support.

Cubot J7 Design And Display

The Cubot J7 smartphone comes in a polycarbonate body design and has a body dimension of 147.8 x 70.7 x 8.85mm. The phone comes in Gradient, Blue and Black colours. There are two cameras located on the rear of the phone and underneath that, is an LED flash. The rear also sports a fingerprint sensor.

The front of the features a 5.7-inch HD+ display, with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. It has an 18:9 aspect ratio, with super narrow bezels.

As for the storage, the phone comes with a 16GB internal storage, which can be expandable up to 64GB using a MicroSD card. The device is fueled by a Quad-Core MediaTek MT6580 Processor clocked at 1.3GHz, paired with 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie operating system, straight out the box and is supported by Mali-400 MP2 graphic processor for smooth running.

Connectivity options of the device include, dual SIM, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4, GPS + GLONASS and Micro USB. The phone sports a rear fingerprint sensor for security, which boast of 0.1s unlock speed. The Cubot J7 packs a detachable 2800mAh battery.

Cubot J7 Camera Review

Despite being an affordable phone, the Cubot J7 sports a dual rear camera and a single selfie camera at the front. The phone has a dual combo 13MP + 2MP rear camera with LED flash, and a front selfie shooter of 8MP. The front camera is also used for face unlock and has an unlocking speed of 0.2s.

The Price of the Cubot J7 has not been officially announced so we have to wait until the phone is officially announced in May or early June.
