The iOS 12.4 update brings improvements to Apple News+, security fix for Walkie-Talkie app, new wireless data migration function and more. The new iPhone migration function allows users to directly transfer data from an old iPhone to a new iPhone wirelessly.
Secondly, Apple News+ has got enhancements and now with this update, it adds all publications including newspapers to the catalog at the top of the News+ feed and includes other enhancements too.
The watchOS 5.3 update comes with security fix for the Walkie-Talkie app on Apple Watch and re-enables Walkie-Talkie functionality. It could be recalled, that Apple disabled Walkie-Talkie app on the Apple Watch, citing a vulnerability, which could allow the feature to be used to eavesdrop on others.
The update also brings ECG support and irregular heart rhythm notifications to Apple Watch Series 4 users in Canada and Singapore.
For the macOS 10.14.6 update, it comes as a maintenance update which fixes bugs and improve security.
How To Update
Updating to the latest version is very easy, as all you have to do, is to navigate to Settings –> General –> Software Update. As with all iOS updates, it will gradually propagate to all users.
