Xiaomi in the last few years, has been growing strong and the company is fighting to keep it that way. Just few weeks again, the company reported to have sold over 100,000 Mi TV in just 9 minutes. The Chinese tech giant has added another record to its name as it’s Redmi K20 series sales crosses 1 million units in the first month. Xiaomi launched both the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro on May 28. The device featured an impressive design and specs for an affordable price.
The new achievement was shared via Twitter by Xiaomi Global Spokesperson and Director of Product Management, Donovan Sung. According to him, the company achieved 1 million sales of Redmi K20 series in its first month. The Redmi K20 was also launched as Xiaomi Mi 9T in Europe and some Asian countries.
The K20 comes powered by Snapdragon 730 chipset, while the K20 Pro is fueled by Snapdragon 855 SoC. For storage, the K20 comes in 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage at a price tag of $292 and $307 in China. The K20 Pro model comes in 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, respectively at a price tag of $365, $380, $409 and $439.
Both phones run the MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie OS, packing a 4,000mAh battery with supports for fast charging. Also, the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro are both equipped with 20-megapixel pop-up selfie cameras. On the back of the K20 Pro is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, a 13-megapixel lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. The Redmi K20 on the other hand, featured a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 lens in its triple camera unit.
