Sharp has officially announced a new smartphone called the AQUOS V. This is the latest addition to the AQUOS series, in a long time. It comes with a 5.93-inch FHD+ display, with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. At the back of the phone, is a combination of two 13MP rear shooter, while the front sports a single 8MP selfie camera.

Sharp choice of chipset is some how shocking as the company wen with the 2017 Snapdragon 835. This is paired by a 4GB RAM, and supported by up to 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded. The AQUOS V supports 4G LTE, dual SIM and features a rear camera sensor. It runs on Android 9 Pie operating system.

Design And Display

The Sharp AQUOS V has a body dimension of 157 x 76 x 9mm, with a weight of 173 grams. It features a 5.93-inch Full HD+ IPS display and with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The phone has a 75.3% screen-to-body ratio, and an aspect ratio 18:9 ratio. It also comes supporting a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

On the back of the phone are two rear cameras, while underneath is the LED flash. There is a rear fingerprint sensor directly under it.

Storage And Performance

The Sharp AQUOS V runs on Android 9 Pie and sports an Adreno 540 graphic processor. It is powered by Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 processor, which is paired by a 4GB RAM. The storage option, shows that the Sharp have been blessed with the phone with a 256GB. For the battery, the device supports 3090mAh.

Camera Review

For the cameras, the Sharp AQUOS V sports a dual rear camera setup. The back of the phone has a combination of 13MP cameras each. The front houses a single 8MP selfie shooter.

Sharp Aquos V Price

The Sharp Aquos V came with a price tag of $230 USD which is around ‎€210. That is just about N84,000 Nigerian Naira.

Fairly OK

The Sharp AQUOS V came with a pretty decent specs and performance for a mid-range phone. The battery is ok, but It would have been nice to have a 4000mAh instead of the 3090mAh
