Xiaomi Redmi 8 And Redmi 8A Gets MIUI 11 Global Stable Update

Xiaomi’s Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A has started receiving the MIUI 11 Global Stable update. It was earlier announced that the MIUI 11 Global Stable update will be rolled out in India starting November 13. The update, which is based on Android Pie, weighs 600MB and 544MB for the Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A respectively.

It brings new UI to the Redmi 8 series along with a system-wide dark mode, new natural sounds and alarm ringtones, and a new quick reply feature. The new update, is based on Android Pie. It also comes with the and comes with the October 2019 security patch. The device has a firmware version number 11.0.1.0.PCPINXM.

While the Redmi 8A was unveiled with up to 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, the Redmi 8 was launched with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The update also brings, New Minimalistic Design, Quick Replies, New Dynamic Sound Effects, Mi Share, Floating Calculator, Updated Mi File Manager, Steps Trackers and more.
