LG has started rolling out the Android 10 update to T-Mobile’s G8 ThinQ users. It could be recalled that the update started back in last November with users of the device in South Korea. Later in January, it was rolled out in the US to the unlocked units as well as those locked to Sprint and Verizon’s networks.
AT&T released Android 10 for the G8 ThinQ earlier this month, and now units locked to T-Mobile’s network is the latest to receive the update. The update, which weighs over 1.5GB in size, comes with LG Pay support, bug fixes and security and system improvements.
The rollout is Over The Air and should be available to all units in a few weeks. Just like the Verizon’s Galaxy S9 Update, you can manually check if the update has reached your device by going to Settings >>> System updates >>> Check for system updates.
