OnePlus 7 Pro 5G Gets OxygenOS 10.0.4 Android 10 Update

OnePlus 7 Pro 5G has started receiving the OxygenOS 10.0.4 update which upgrades the phone to Android 10. This is coming after the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro got theirs last October. Although it wasn’t specified which region is getting the update, it is believed it could be for users in Europe since OnePlus mentioned the region will be getting it for the Q1 2020.

The update comes with new features such as new UI and enhanced location permissions for privacy. There are new features like blocking of spam and a lot of others. See complete changelog below for more details:

  • System
    • Upgraded to Android 10
    • Brand new UI design
    • Enhanced location permissions for privacy
    • New customization features in Settings allowing you to choose icon shapes to be displayed in the Quick Settings
  • Full Screen Gestures
    • Added inward swipes from the left or right edge of the screen to go back
    • Added a bottom navigation bar to allow switching left or right for recent apps
  • Game Space
    • New Game Space feature now joins all your favorite games in one place for easier access and better gaming experience
  • Contextual Info
    • Intelligent info based on specific times, locations and events for Ambient Display (Settings – Display – Ambient Display – Contextual info)
  • Message
    • Now possible to block spam by keywords for Message (Messages – Spam – Settings – Blocking settings)
