Xiaomi has started rolling out Android 10 update to users of Mi A2 Lite device. The update comes with a version number 220.127.116.11.QDLMIXM, and has February Android security patch. The device was launched running on Android 8.1 (Oreo), but was later updated it to Android 9.0 (Pie) in November 2018. See post HERE.
Android 10 brings a number of additional privacy and security features for users, as well as Dark Theme, Smart Reply, Focus mode, dedicated ‘Privacy section’, and lots more. According to Xiaomi, it is a partial rollout so it might take some time to reach everyone.
Also known as Redmi 6 Pro, the device was launched with up to 4GB RAM, and up to 64GB internal storage. It comes fueled by a Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 processor, supported by a 4000mAh battery capacity. The device has two rear cameras, a 12MP rear camera with LED flash, with a 5MP, depth camera. On the front is a 5MP selfie snapper.
It has a body dimension of 149.3 x 71.7 x 8.8mm and weighs 178 grams. The phone is designed with a Glass front, aluminum back and aluminum frame. It is available in Black, Blue and Gold for Global users, and in Rose Gold and Red in China only.
