The Huawei Watch GT 2e has officially been launched in China. The device was earlier unveiled in Europe during the P40 series launch. According to the company, the new version is targeted at Generation Z with the letter “e” standing for energy.
As for the specs, the Watch GT 2e features a 1.39-inch circular AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. It is designed with a metal and plastic casing and comes in Black coated stainless steel and stainless steel colours. It weighs 43 grams without the straps. As for the straps, the Watch GT 2e is available Black Fluoroelastomer, Red & Black TPU, Green & Black TPU, and White Fluoroelastomer straps.
The Huawei Watch GT 2e comes running on Android 4.4+ or iOS 9.0+ and packs a battery capacity that is capable of lasting for 14 days on a single charge. It can be charged via magnetic charging thimble port using the in-box proprietary charging cradle. It is water-resistant up to 5ATM, and has sensors like Accelerometer sensor gyroscope, geomagnetic, optical heart rate, ambient light, air pressure, capacitive for activity tracking.
The Watch GT 2e supports a total of 100 fitness tracking mode, including 15 professional workout modes and 85 customized workout modes. It also features an SpO2 sensor to monitor oxygen levels in the blood. The watch features a 4GB internal storage that is capable of storing a good number of music.
Price Of Huawei Watch GT 2e
As for the price, those in China can get the Huawei Watch GT 2e for 1288 yuan, which is around $182. That same device is sold in Europe with a price tag of €199 which is around $219.
