0 101

WhatsApp keep’s adding new and improve features to the app, making it the most popular messaging app in the world. A few months ago, we saw the introduction of the dark mode feature, and now the company has added a QR code support. This feature is similar to the ‘Nametag’ feature introduced by Instagram that allow users to discover others on the platform by simply scanning the Nametag.

In the latest iOS beta update, the QR codes was added on TestFlight, now the company has started rolling out the same support for Android beta users. The QR code feature is currently available on WhatsApp Beta v2.20.171 and you can download it via Google Play Store.

With the new feature, you can share your QR code, scan other’s QR code to add them to your contacts as well as choosing to keep the existing QR code or reset them.
