Chinese smartphone brand Tecno has introduced its latest smartphones series, called the Camon 16. This is coming as a successor to the Camon 15 series launched early this year. The phone which is currently on sale in Kenya, comes in three variants that include Tecno Camon 16, Camon 16 Pro and the premium version called Tecno Camon 16 Premier.
All the version of the phones features two front cameras and a combination of four rear cameras with flash light. The Premier sporting a Helio G90T chipset supported by a 4,500 mAh battery with 33W fast-charging. The Camon 16 Premier sports an 8GB RAM, with a 128GB of internal storage.
Not much details were revealed about the Camon 16 and the Camon 16 Pro, but both devices will feature same battery and screen size, as well as body design. The premier version features a 6.9-inch Full HD+ screen with 90Hz refresh rate and a pill-shaped punch hole for the dual selfie cameras (48MP main + 8MP ultrawide).
On the back, is a combination of 64MP Sony IMX686 main sensor, plus an 8MP ultrawide-angle snapper, with two 2MP units to assist night photos, and Portraits. The device sports a side molded fingerprint scanner located under the power key.
The phone is expected to by officially launched in the coming months and is expected to by available with a price tag of around $275.
