TSTV Update: New Frequency, Symbol Rate, Satellite Position, & Launch Date

Over the years, TSTV has battled to launch its pay TV service in Nigeria. The company came offering a world class TV service and mouth watering plan, with the aim of competing with the likes of DStv and Star time. Many Nigerians welcome the idea, but their hope was cut short after a series of failure in launching the said TV service.

Back in June, it was reported that the company has gone bankrupted and was chased out of their Building at Plot 1191 Gilmor Layout, Jahi, Abuja. Even before that, the company was operating on a different frequency and symbol rate, which has many confused if they were serious at all.

With the current predicament being faced by MultiChoice DStv, TStv is once again trying to make a comeback. This was made known after the company took to their social media handle and announced a relaunch of the platform. According to the company, TStv is expected to begin test broadcast services from the 10th of September, 2020.

In a statement shared on the company’s official social media handle, TStv thanked Nigerians for their patience and understanding over the past months, as well as apologizing for the inconvenience caused. It also announced a new satellite position, frequency and symbol rate to get its signals. The official statement reads;

TStv wishes to thank Nigerians for their patience and understanding over the past months. We apologize once again for all inconvenience and appreciate the steadfastness of all those who have stood by us.

We are now pleased to announce that TStv is preparing for a relaunch nationwide and as part of activities leading to the relaunch, TStv will begin test broadcast services from the 10th of September, 2020.
