Samsung has launched a new SmartTV in India, that is capable of rotating both horizontally and vertically. The company called the TV set, The Sero and it features a 43-inch QLED display, with 4.1ch 60W front speakers and an embedded base-enhancing woofers.
The Sero behaves like a regular Samsung Smart TV, perfect for movies and shows. With a tap on the bezel, the TV will change its orientation to vertical, optimizing it for mobile content like apps and social media.
Speaking during the launch,Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President, Consumer Electronics Business, Samsung India said:
With The Sero, we want to tap in to the social media generation. With consumers now using their TVs in different ways than ever before, including scrolling through social media, watching the latest viral videos or binge watching their favorite OTT shows, we wanted to redefine their content viewing experience by moving it to a bigger screen. The Sero has been designed to seamlessly adapt and enhance whatever content the user is watching, bringing in a more optimized experience to consumers.
The TV comes with a All-in-one Stand on, and comes with other features such as Ambient Mode+, Portrait Mode, an Always On Display mode, Active Voice Amplifier (AVA), and more. The Samsung The Sero TV set comes in Navy Blue colour option and according to reports, will be available exclusively in Reliance Digital stores for a price of Rs. 1,24,990.
