It has now been confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 11 will not be coming with a charger in the box. This was revealed by the company’s CEO Lei Jun, who said that the move to protect the environment. According to him, it will only come with a USB Type-C charging cable along with the phone.
It could be recalled that the Apple launched the iPhone 12 series, without a power adapter and EarPods. There are rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, will also feature without a power adapter in the box. Each of these companies has revealed that their aim is to reach their environmental goals.
Xiaomi CEO, stated that he is well aware that this decision may not be understood or even be criticized. He asked is there a better solution between industry practice and environmental protection.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 according to confirmation, will come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, Harman Kardon audio experience, Wi-Fi 6E support and more. The phone will be the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon 888 5G 5nm Mobile Platform. It is said to feature a punch-hole AMOLED screen with Mi 11 Pro featuring a QHD+ curved screen, 108MP main camera and more.
