Transsion Holdings over the years have managed to build itself as a brand in Africa. The company is not working to establish its presence in India. It recently launched a smartTV in the country and now, it is planning on launching a new entry-level smartphone.
A few weeks back, an upcoming Inifinix Hot 10 Play was spotted on FCC. That same phone has now been also found on India’s BIS certification bureau. It is coming with a model number X688C, and will be equipped with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
Not much detail was revealed by the listing, but from the sketch revealed, the Inifinix Hot 10 Play will have a rectangular camera bump at the top left corner, a squircle capacitive fingerprint sensor, and vertically aligned ‘Infinix’ branding.
The Hot 10 Play will be the third device in the Infinix Hot 10 series after the Infinix Hot 10 and Infinix Hot 10 Lite was launched. It will also be a direct successor to the Hot 9 Play introduced this year.
