Motorola has started rolling out the latest Android 11 update to the Moto G Pro device. This was made known by a senior moderator on Motorola’s community forum. The update, which weighs 1.1GB in size, comes with the latest January 2021 security patches.
Motorola hasn’t been doing well, when it comes to delivering timely updates. As a matter of facts, a lot of its devices are still waiting for the Android 10 update.
While no official changelog was shared by the company, the update is expected to come with new features such as Conversations, Bubbles and Media and Device controls, One-time permissions and a built-in Screen recorder.
The Moto G Pro comes as part of Google’s Android One program. It could be recalled that the phone was launched with a 6.4-inch display, and a resolution of 1080 x 2300 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm SDM665 Snapdragon 665 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM.
It packed a 4000mAh, non-removable battery, with 15W Fast charging. On the back of the phone, is a combination of 48MP + 16MP + 2MP rear cameras, supported with a single 16MP from snapper. The phone has a dimension of 158.6 x 75.8 x 9.2mm, with a weight of 192 grams.
The Motorola Moto G Pro came in Mystic indigo colour, with a price tag of $250.
