MultiChoice Nigeria has announced its major sponsor for the 6th edition of its popular reality TV show, the Big Brother Naija. The operators of DStv, GOtv, and Showmax, unveiled an indigenous mobile app, Abeg, as the Headline Sponsor for the TV show.
The company’s Chief Executive Officer, John Ugbe who spoke of the new partnership, expressed excitement as he believes the new partnership will deepen the engagement with its customers and fans. In his words, the MultiChoice Nigeria CEO said;

While Abeg was unveiled as the Headline Sponsor of the Big Brother Naija Season 6, the company also named another company by the name Patricia, as an associate Sponsor. MultiChoice revealed that the auditions for the popular reality show will be announced in due course, as the show will be scheduled to kick off for a sixth Season later this year.
For those who don’t know, Abeg is a peer-to-peer social payment platform launched back in September 2020, that allows users to send, request and receive money quickly. Users can seamlessly make payment for goods and services, as well as transfer money to friends and family free of charge on the platform. The mobile app is a product of the leading financial technological company, Piggytech Global Limited.
